TUSCALOOSA CO. -- Two people were arrested Friday night after a meth lab was found at a house fire. According to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff Department's Facebook page, Johnny Truman Brown and Timothy David Jones were arrested after deputies responded to the Peterson Water Department on a report that water was being stolen at a residence on Recreation Area Road.

When deputies arrived, Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue were already on the scene due to a house fire. Authorities noticed an odor of a possible meth lab and deputities began to investigate.

The remains of a recently active meth lab were recovered in addition to marijuana, drug paraphernalia and GHB. As of Sunday morning, both men are being held with a bond of more than $120,000.
