Tuscaloosa Junior Belles to host 6th annual Easter Egg Hunt Sunday

Spring means flowers, warm
weather and Easter egg hunting fun. The Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the Junior
Belles, will take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Battle Friedman House. The hunt will include games, Easter activities, a petting zoo from the
Tuscaloosa Barnyard, and pictures with the Easter bunny. All proceeds will go
to the preservation society and the Tuscaloosa Belles. Following the hunt,

Walker County authorities are searching for information after a man was found burned this weekend.  A Chevrolet truck was found burning behind the old Empire School Saturday.A hunter happened up on the vehicle..and inside they found a man and a dog burned beyond recognition.Authorities confirm the truck is registered to a person with the last name Cates.Many believe the body is 32 year-old Eric Cates and the canine to be his dog Gypsy.Autopsy results have not come back to officially determine the identity.We spoke with Walker County Chief Deputy Dayron Bridges who tells us nothing ...Read more

The person has now been identified as Nelson Pearl Jones III. He's a black male, 42 years in age.Authorities say his body was dumped from a commercial garbage truck that picks up in the area. Operators noticed Jones' body .We're told the particular truck could have picked up up to 50 loads before it came to the landfill to empty.Captain Gary Hood with the Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide Unit says the cause of death has not been determined at this time.Investigators are following leads as to the whereabouts of Mr. Jones over the previous 24 hours. ...Read more

Bus Stop Brawl

Kids leaving a school bus got into a violent brawl in Greene County.
Bats and a gun were used. The fight was caught on camera and uploaded to YouTube.
We know it took place in the Jena community along County Road 156 around 4:00pm as students were being dropped off by the school bus.
Authorities confirm that the people in the video are both minors and adults.
